I do not recall seeing our largest public corporation Guysuco publishing its accounts in the print media for the year ended 2007. I do not know if I missed it, if so please let me know in which edition it was published.
However, if it has not been published can you pursue this issue with the Chairman or Finance Director of the company. We have recently seen that GPL has been having tremendous financial problems requiring Govern-ment intervention and Guysuco is using significant tax dollars to fund its expansion etc
The public has a right to know whether or not the corporation is profitable and also what is the current financial health of this local titan.
I would very much appreciate your assistance in this request and also whether your business editor/analyst can follow up on this.
