Dear Editor,
I believe what we sow we ultimately reap.
The USA embassy has been betrayed once too often by Guyanese who have been issued visas and I believe it has reached a point where it will not attribute any benefit of doubt to Guyanese applicants for B1/B2 visas.
Our past has shown that generally we abuse the courtesy of the embassy by violating the rule of keeping our word and adhering to embassy expectations.
Basically, I think the embassy cannot afford to trust Guyanese and I totally agree with its current trend of judging swiftly on the basis of one or two relevant questions and refusing or issuing accordingly.
Yours faithfully,
Krishna Nand Prasad
