Amerindian Heritage month launched

With the Carifesta spotlight turned off, attention has now turned to Amerindian Heritage Month, which opened with a cultural programme featuring indigenous food, drink, dances and songs at the Amerindian Village at Sophia Exhibition Complex last evening.

Dear Editor, I would like to see the media pursue the question of whether the work done in preparation for Carifesta X will be carried forward in the areas of security, the arts, sanitation, transportation, civil behaviour, etc, and built on and expanded.
