Reigning Mr. Guyana Mark ‘Uno’ Perry who also has the distinction of being the inaugural winner of the Mr. Hugh Ross Classic, is set to represent Guyana at the upcoming Central American and Caribbean Bodybuilding and Fitness Champion-ships set for the Bahamas from September 24 – 29.
In a release issued by the Guyana Amateur Body Building and Fitness Federation (GABBFF) on Saturday last, it was stated that Perry, one of three athletes selected had decided not to participate due to personal reasons.
This statement turned out to be inaccurate and was caused by a communication mix up.
Perry, who has taken the competitive stage by storm, has said he is more than proud to have been selected to be one Guyana ’s three representatives along with his fellow Lindeners Clint Duke and Lindie Sharpe.
“I am well set and prepared to represent my country at CAC which I am looking forward to with great expectation later this month,” Perry declared.
The GABBFF is scheduled to meet with the Duke, Sharpe and Perry later this week.
