The President should be more outraged when officials fail to do their job

Dear Editor,
The President and others must be more outraged when officials fail to do their job. Repeated thefts from the airport with security nearby?  Possibly protecting traffic lights after several have been knocked down? Raising the ban on scrap dealers selling copper without really heavy fines and jail terms for buyers/sellers and utility vandals?  No undercover investigations of corrupt/surly police and workers at bridges, ferries, airport and traffic stops, etc? There are three types of officials: innovative, inactive and incompetent. The President must get rid of the last two. Laws must be enforced; it’s time to say enough. Plans are good only if properly implemented and fair.
