Dear Editor,
For the past three weeks the village of Strathspey on the East Coast of Demerara has been suffering from a serious water shortage.
Many calls were made to GWI to complain of the problems the residents are facing, but up to now nothing has been done to restore the full flow of water. It appears that GWI cannot locate the problem that is causing the water shortage.
Some residents who can afford it have to pay $2500 for a black tank of water from private trucks.
Yours faithfully,
Albert Persid
