A double from Shem Porter enabled Flamingo to defeat Black Pearl 3-1 in a fixture of the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) Banks Beer division-one league competition on Tuesday afternoon at the Camptown ground.
Porter scored his goal in the first and 14th minute of play while Irving Mayers chipped in with a 40th minute goal as Flamingo maintained their unbeaten run while handing Black Pearl its first loss.
Black Pearl’s Quincy Bourne scored his team’s consolation goal in the 24th minute.
And, at the Tucville ground, Houston Stars won by a walkover from the University of Guyana.
