Nine of the 13 contestants of the Ms Renaissance Pageant billed for November 1 at the National Cultural Centre on Thursday paid a courtesy call on Minister of Tourism, Industry and Commerce Manniram Prashad. During the visit which is in keeping with scheduled pageant activities, the professional and mature women were congratulated for being part of the pageant and given words of encouragement. Also present was pageant coordinator Negla Brandis. This year marks the fourth hosting of the pageant which caters for women 28 years and over.
