Dear Editor,
I would like to commend the efforts of the policemen and women who work tirelessly on the east coast and east bank to ensure road safety. Many road users often ignore the rules and regulations and end up in fatalities. Strict penalties should be administered to those pedestrians who skip and hop across the road totally ignoring the lights and signs. However, the traffic police are doing an excellent job and should continue until the maniacs are off the road or thoroughly understand the traffic laws.
Yours faithfully,
Diane Woolford
