Over $2.5m will be up for grabs when the Norman Singh Memorial Turf Club (NSMTC) stages its grand one-day horse race meeting on October 19 at the Number Six Village, West Coast Berbice turf club.
Eight races are scheduled for the day in the three-year-old, `C’ and Lower class categories which will have two feature events.
Entries for the one day meet closes on October 12 and persons desirous of having their horses participate in the meet are asked to contact the Number Six Office West Coast Berbice or Ghansham Singh (232-0219) or C Sancho (616-3020).
The first race will be run off promptly at 1pm and some of the top horses on show will include Sequin, Showing Up, and Great Memories. Little Panie and Getting Something on a track that has undergone some upgrading recently.
