Dear Editor,
We see animals tied up in the hot sun with no shelter and water for them. On Vlissengen Road on the eastern side of Camp Ayanganna, there are some cows tied up in the hot sun too far away from the trees where they could shelter. The ones that are not tied up can be seen sheltering underneath the trees there, but the ones who are tied have nowhere to shelter from the hot sun all day.
The same thing happens to horses too. The owners have them pulling heavy loads in the hot sun, on the hot asphalt roads. While they wait for hire, the owners sit in the shade and leave the poor animals in the hot sun.
Yours faithfully,
N. Bisnath
