Yesterday the Stella Maris Primary School hosted its annual Inter-House Sports at the Police Sports Club ground, Eve Leary where five houses vied for the title they would wear for a year until it is ready to be defended.
Wren House accumulated 93 points to take that honour ahead of Kiskadee House who amassed 92 points for second place while Humming Bird House and Bluesakie House finished third and fourth with 69 and 66 points respectively.
Robin House trailed all competitors with 58 points.
Almost all the schools in the country have hosted their inter-house sports in preparation to attend their district’s inter-zones track and field competition which was renamed ‘Champion of Champions’ in order to be selected to compete in the annual Guyana Teachers Union (GTU) organized Schools Nationals Championships.
