Nigel Kewley gorged himself on five goals as New Amsterdam Multilateral School feasted on J. C Chandisingh Secondary by 12 goals to none when play in the Garrett Cup football competition in Berbice continued on Monday afternoon at the Albion Community Development Centre ground.
Chandisingh Secondary had no answer to the flurry of goals from New Amsterdam Multilateral with Kewley banging in five goals, Javell Fraser, three and Colwin Burnette and Nigel August, two goals each.
In the second match of the double header Tutorial Academy Secondary got the better of Port Mourant Secondary by four goals to one.
For the winners, Jamal Joseph, Dedrick Thompson, Denry Henry and Cleroy Joseph all got their names on the scorers sheet while Eon Hooper managed to pull back one for the losers.
The competition concludes on Monday in which seven matches are scheduled.
According to the organiser Vibert Garrett, Line Path Secondary will oppose Lower Corentyne Secondary, Orealla Secondary School will play against Central Corentyne High, and New Amsterdam Multilateral will tackle rivals Berbice High School and Vryman’s Erven Community High will take on Tutorial Academy Secondary.
All the matches including the final will be played at the Albion Community Development Centre Ground.
