Stabbed in land argument

A 38-year-old man was admitted to the Georgetown Hospital after sustaining a stab wound in his abdomen.

Krishna Khemraj of 109 Narine Street, Annandale sustained the injury in the left side of his abdomen.

According to reports reaching this newspaper Khemraj and a 62 year-old relative had an argument concerning disputed land when the argument got out of control and the relative stabbed him. The man was taken for surgery for the wound.

Meanwhile Mark Hopkinson, 27, of 2878 North Ruimveldt was also admitted to the institution with several lacerations to his face and head, after being hit with a bottle by another man he was in a fight with.
