The skeletal remains of a human being was discovered at Seven Miles, Mahdia yesterday morning, a police press release said.
According to the police, the remains was found under a tree at approximately 11.30 am with a bag containing clothing nearby.
The skeleton, suspected to be that of a male African is currently at the Mahdia Hospital Mortuary.
Efforts, the police said, are being made to transport the remains to Georgetown for a post-mortem examination.
