School of the Nations yesterday announced its purchase of the Woodbine Hotel, which will be renovated to house a school campus by early next year.
In a statement, School of the Nations Director Dr. Brian O’Toole said that the Nations school, College and Univer-sity would be moved to the new location early in the new year. He added that the move would give the school about twice the space it presently has at its Kingston location.
Dr. O’Toole told Stabroek News that it is hoped that renovations would be completed in order to relocate the school by February. He said the school is meeting with contractors to begin work to convert the hotel complex. Dr. O’Toole noted that the hotel’s infrastructure would lend itself to renovation.
