Scotiabank recently donated $600,000 to the Ministry of Labour, Human Services and Social Security for the care of orphans and vulnerable children affected by HIV. In a press release the Bank said the donation was in keeping with its mandate under its Bright Future Programme, a new international corporate giving venture being
conducted across the Caribbean and in Latin America. The programme aligns Scotiabank’s community-based initiatives towards a single goal – providing opportunities for children in communities in which it operates and where its customers and employees reside.
