Kuru Kuru Training centre with 85 games won the first leg of the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport inter-department dominoes competition which was held recently.
Niclo Noble top scored with 17 games while Bevon Edwards and Compton Parris chipped in with 16 games and Simon Maithland 14.
The National Culture Centre team occupied the runner-up position with 77 games while the Guyana national Stadium team ended third on 76 games.
Leon Mc Garrell scored the maximum 18 games for the National Cultural centre team while Raul London and Lorraine Reid supported with 15 games each.
For the Guyana National Stadium team, Wazim Habib, Lance Ferguson and Lance Croal each scored 16 games while Ronald Ambrose contributed 14.
Administration with 74 games also made it through to the next round but the Guyana Museum with 67 games and Accounts with 64 games were eliminated.
Sports Organiser Daniel Richmond scored the maximum 18 games for Administration while Neville Garnett and Esan Johnson contributed 14 and 12 game respectively.
For the Guyana Museum, Jahaun Correira and Muhssa Nelson each contributed 14 games while Rudolph Sinclair scored 13 while Marlon Cameron and Dale France contributed 17 and 15 games respectively for Accounts.
