The Skeldon Community Centre ground, East Berbice will be a buzz of activity tomorrow, when the Flying Ace Cycle Club of Berbice runs off its second Day of Sports for the year from 11:00hrs.
Having successfully hosted a Day of Sports in October, management of the club decided to satisfy the fans with a similar event which will involve athletics, cycling and football competitions with attractive prizes at stake.
According to the club’s cycling coach Randolph Roberts, Geddes Grant (Guyana) Limited through its product S.S.S. Tonic will be sponsoring the first prize for the cycle race while other sponsors of the day’s event include Tony Amarally, Ganesh Singh and Brothers Sawmill, Bakewell Bakery, Spready’s Bakery, Bhaijnauth and Sons Sawmill, A. Ally and Sons, Sean’s Taxi Service, Instant Security Services and Jeff Roberts.
