Dear Editor,
In my letter, ‘Mr Corbin lacks what it takes to lead the PNC’ (SN 7.3.07) I said, “Mr Corbin it is time for you to go since there is nothing you can do to redeem yourself to the extent that you will not be a major liability to the PNC.”
I also called on Basil Williams, Aubrey Norton, Volda Lawrence, Vincent Alexander, Lorri Alexander, Jerome Khan et al to say something to the Guyanese people. I asked them not to wait until Mr Corbin rode the PNC into the dust.
A lot has happened since then. Firstly, I was attacked by PNCR Region 10 MP Ms Vanessa Kissoon as well as Ms Carol Vieira-Smith, who I have since found out is a PNCR Region No 5 official. Then Vincent Alexander, Joseph Hamilton, James McAllister and Deborah Backer et al sounded their voices.
They might not have succeeded in removing Mr Corbin at the last PNCR Congress but they set into motion a process that is irreversible.
At this time I must again ask the question of Basil Williams, Aubrey Norton, Volda Lawrence, Lorri Alexander and Jerome Khan: Are you going to wait until Mr Corbin rides the PNCR into the dust?
Yours faithfully,
Ivan David
