Rawle DaSilva, promoter of the Purification Reggae Concert featuring Jamaican artistes, Capleton and Queen Ifrica along with Guyanese Natural Black said his show has not been banned by the Home Affairs Ministry, and is on as scheduled.
DaSilva said he is in talks with the Society Against Sexual Orientation Discrim-ination (SASOD) with respect to having a show clean of discriminatory and violent lyrics.
He said some people might have been misled about the show being cancelled due to a letter which appeared in the letter columns of Stabroek News yesterday.
The show is billed for January 3, 2009 at the National Park and according to him; it would be a good, clean show.
