The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) last evening announced the death of Lieutenant Commander Lalta Narine of the Coast Guard.
GDF spokesman Major Earl Daniels said Narine collapsed and died at his home last evening, shortly after returning from the annual soldier’s day activities. No cause of death was available.
