A third person yesterday appeared in the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court charged with the murder of Ricardo Henriques.
Troy Collymore of 60 Prince William Street, Plaisance was not required to plead to the indictable charge when he appeared before Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson.
It was alleged that on November 24, 2008 at Georgetown, Collymore, Junior Henry and Baldeo Seegobin murdered Henriques.
US-based businessman Henriques of D’Urban Street, Werk-en-Rust was fatally shot during a robbery. He was shot in the head at point blank range around 7 pm just outside a booth on Middle Street.
Initially, two men, including an employee of Henriques, were arrested in connection with the businessman’s fatal shooting.
Henry, the former employee of Henriques, and goldsmith Seegobin made their first appearance at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court on November 27, charged with the man’s murder.
Henry, 25, resides at Lot 58 West Ruimveldt Estate, Georgetown and Seegobin, 31, resides at 97 West Ruimveldt Housing Scheme, Georgetown.
Collymore, 28, is a carpenter and father of two.
Their case was transferred to court three for January 27.
