Police in Linden are investigating the case of a motorcyclist who passed away at the Georgetown Hospital on January 19, five days after he crashed into a wooden fence.
Dead is Seon Burgess.
According to a police press release yesterday the accident occurred around 3:45 pm on January 14.
Investigations revealed that Burgess was riding his motorcycle along the roadway at Wismar, Linden when he lost control and crashed into a wooden fence. He was subsequently transferred to the Georgetown Hospital where he later died.
A post-mortem performed by Dr. Nehaul Singh on Wednesday gave the cause of death as a fractured skull.
This matter was only reported to the police on January 19 following Burgess’ death, the release added.
