An Interim Management Committee (IMC) has been set up to run the affairs of the proposed Guyana Masters Football Association following a meeting at the Georgetown Football Club’s pavilion on Sunday.
The committee is headed by former national captain Terrence Archer with Frank `English’ Parris as the vice president.
Another former national captain Gordon `The Ultimate Warrior’ is Braithwaite the secretary while Colin Howard is the treasurer.
Former national player Leonard Williams is the assistant secretary/ treasurer.
According to a release, a programme of events has been planned with the first activity being the staging of a league among clubs across the country.
There are also plans to select a squad to oppose a Barbados Masters team in June here.
The association, which is expected to be formed shortly, also plans to participate in a Caribbean Nations Cup tournament scheduled for Barbados in November.
