Defending champions Prospect Jammers will start as favourites when the inter-village knock-out basketball tournament sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport gets cracking on February 15.
Other teams set to participate in the tournament for which trophies will be at stake are Mc Doom, Agricola, Bagostown, Mocha Arcadia, Meadobank, Herstelling, Grove, Supply and Soesdyke.
The tournament which will be played at the outdoor Burnham Court will be co-ordinated by Wayne François of the Department of Sport along with Dennis Clarke.
Trophies will be presented to the first three teams while there will also be a trophy for the most valuable player.
