Dear Editor,
A mixed bag of blogs on the subject of President Obama’s birth chart. Cat among the pigeons. Strange, unrelated references.
Unlike many of the fraternity who, in defence of their art, draw attention to the gospels, particularly St Luke’s, and point out that the Magi were astrologer-priests, I prefer to let the matter rest.
We have been trained never to ‘go public’ with a full analysis of a birth chart without the subject’s prior permission. So we have to be careful not to say too much and to couch our language carefully. Suffice it to say, some events and experiences concern-ing the President will happen suddenly, unexpectedly, in-conveniently.
In withdrawing from the debate, I would just quote Sir Isaac Newton’s reply to Edmond Halley, the astrono-mer of Comet fame, who expressed doubts about the art (not science) of astrology: “Sir, I have studied it, you have not.”
Yours faithfully,
Geralda Dennison
