An action-packed day is expected tomorrow at the Tucville Playfield ground with the conclusion of the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) 2008 season.
What is promised to be four exhilarating games will bring the curtain down on the two remaining tournaments organized by the GFA.
The GFA had initially scheduled the conclusion of the Williams Cup for yesterday while the Banks Beer competition was scheduled to be concluded on February 28.
However, the constant rainfall made numerous venues unfit for play including the Tucville playfield, Banks DIH and Parade Grounds which had became very soggy with water puddles.
Tomorrow, Santos Football Club will oppose Fruta Conquerors for top honours in the inaugural Williams Cup U-11 knockout tournament while Beacon United and Marian Academy will clash in the third place playoff one hour prior to the final with a 2pm kickoff time.
At 5pm, Beacon United and Black Pearl will battle for third place in the Banks Beer first division competition while the feature match, the final, between Flamingo and BK Int’l Western Tigers will commence at 7pm.
