A ton of softball action will unfold today at the Perseverance Beach, Essequibo Coast when the seven-a-side, six-over softball champion-of-champions tournament bowls off at 10am.
Several top players from the Essequibo and Georgetown are expected to be on show.
The winning and runner-up teams will receive $20, 000 and $10, 000 respectively along with trophies.
A cash incentive of $3,000 and a trophy for the man-of-the-match in the final is also up for grabs.
The two finalists will be attired in Digicel caps while each team that participated in the tournament will receive two bottles of Extra White Rum, compliments of Banks DIH.
