Paul Hamilton who was born in Scotland and schooled in England where he obtained his diploma in Hotel and Culinary studies, has been appointed to the post, the hotel said in a press release.
Hamilton brings a wealth of experience from working in prestigious kitchens of the Café Royal and Berkeley Hotel in London and Hotel Le Richemond in Geneva, Switzerland where he did his apprenticeship. He has also held positions on cruise ships and in hotels in Bermuda, the Seychelles, St Lucia and most recently in Barbados bringing an international flare to the culinary arts.
The release said Hamilton has the ability to create a wide array of international delights that are certain to please. He also looks forward to sharing his skills and experiences with the local team and has already started making his mark at the hotel with a “new and exciting menu” at the El Dorado Restaurant. Pegasus said the new menu includes affordable, international and local appetizers, main courses and desserts which are served for lunch or dinner.
