To facilitate the hosting of the Police Officers’ Annual Conference which begins tomorrow, Young Street between Camp and Parade streets will be closed to vehicular traffic on three days this week.

According to a police press release, tomorrow and on Thursday that section of the street will be closed from 7 am to approximately 9 pm.

On Saturday the road will be closed from 7 am to 2 pm and then again from 6 pm to 12 pm.

Any inconvenience caused is regretted, the release added.

Stabroek News was told that Friday will be a rest day for the conference as most of the officers will be at the Providence Stadium for the West Indies verses England one-day cricket match.
