Dear Editor,
I am a resident of Queenstown. A young man is operating a car wash bay at the corner of Oronoque and Forshaw Streets causing great suffering to residents. The parapets are encumbered with vehicles; access to our homes is blocked; when the high-powered pump is attached to the mains, one gets reduced water in the area; and the wash bay has a very noisy engine which is in use from 6 am-10pm, Sunday to Sunday, disturbing the peace and tranquility of this once residential area. The result is we can’t talk on the phone; our kids can’t study and we can’t get water. I beg those in authority to look into this matter with urgency.
Yours faithfully,
George Abrams
