Dear Editor,

With reference to the report in SN on March 16 about the two German tourists being beaten and robbed in America Street the day before, could it be they had been lulled into a false sense of security, seeing so many young men in black with automatic weapons?

Perhaps the Germans felt safe, not realizing those smart-looking young security men are mostly for decorative purposes. I honestly feel frightened about what the two tourists will tell others when they go back to their fatherland.
