CRAB HILL, Barbados, CMC – Leeward Islands were scenting a three-day victory after Runako Morton hit his highest first-class score and Barbados were forced to follow-on in the WICB regional competition yesterday.
Leewards had Barbados – trailing by 198 runs on first innings – wobbling on 47 for two in their second innings at the close of the second day of their 11th round match at the North Stars Social & Cultural Club.
Morton finished on 210 in the visitors first innings total of 439 before Barbados suffered another inexplicable batting collapse and were dismissed for 241 about 15 minutes before the scheduled close.
