Dear Editor,
I wish to commend the police for their success in two incidents. The first was the recovery of an expensive camera worth US$5,000 which was stolen from a Barbadian journalist at the Providence Stadium during the recent cricket match.
Good intelligence work led to the recovery of the camera in Charlotte Street and a man has been charged.
The other case is that of a robbery committed on a Geddes Grant clerk and security guard in New Amsterdam, where quick reaction paid dividends in nabbing one of the bandits and the stolen money. Also others were subsequently apprehended. It reinforces the statement that dead men don’t talk.
Congrats for a job well done.
Yours faithfully,
