Red-lighted: A collision between a mini-bus and a taxi at the corner of Camp Street and Lamaha Street yesterday afternoon left no one injured but it was the end of the road for this traffic light which had been hit before. The car, PHH 3195, attached to the Ambassador Taxi Service, according to reports, was heading east along Lamaha Street while the mini-bus, BLL 4247, was heading north on Camp Street, when they collided. The traffic lights were said to be turned off at the time though it was ‘blinking’ signalling ‘proceed with caution’. However, both drivers apparently did not and attempted to get across the road at the same time. The car hit the bus, which hit the pole supporting the traffic lights, causing it to lean over, destroying the lights. Shards from it were on the road.
