The Guyana Defence Force (GDF) whipped Mahaica Determinaters four nil as the Mackeson/Digicel Sweet 16 Football tournament kicked off last evening at the Plaisance Community Centre ground.
GDF who lost to Sunburst Camptown in the Finals last year 2-1, emerged as one of the early winners this year through a triple from Gavin Wilson (6’ , 58’and 8’) while a goal came from Royan Morrison (71’).
