The East Coast team to contest the DJ Stress 20/20 cricket festival which is scheduled for Friday at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence, has been selected.

Manager Samaroo Jailall is requesting the 14-man squad to be present at the Lusignan Community Centre ground this afternoon for an important meeting and practice session.

National off spinner Zaheer Mohammed along with national limited overs opening batsman Rajendra Chandrika and former national wicketkeeper Sheik Mohammed are all included in the team whose first match is against the Gizmos and Gadgets GT Pitbulls.

The hard-hitting Harrinarine Hira, Vishnu Ramjeet and Narvan Singh along with Demerara Under-19 player Rajendra Nikbarran who were all part of the Lusignan Cricket Club team which lost the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB)/Gafoors 20/20 final to Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) on Sunday last, are also included.
