Two men were on Monday remanded to prison when they appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton charged with trafficking in narcotics.

It is alleged that on April 23 at Georgetown Lakeram Shivram and Antram Shivram had in their possession 1,490 grammes of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.

They were remanded to prison until August 21.
