The Assemblies of God Church in Guyana is celebrating Rev John Oswald Smith’s 40th year of service with a five-day celebration which started yesterday.

According to a press release Smith is the senior pastor of the Central Assembly of God, general superintendent of the local Assemblies of God, speaker on the “Christ is the Answer” broadcast and presenter of the televised “Family Forum.”

Munroe is expected to speak tomorrow at a breakfast meeting for believers at the International Conference Centre at Liliendaal. On Monday he is expected to speak at a special luncheon for businesspersons at the Pegasus Hotel.

The release said the main event will be a celebratory service at the Central Assembly church on Sunday at 2 pm. Rallies will be held at the same venue today, tomorrow and Monday, from 6pm. The public is invited to attend.
