Islam Cares is starting a clean-up project to clear the Muslim section of Le Repentir Cemetery.
In a press release the group said a number of Muslim brothers and sisters will assemble at the cemetery tomorrow at 8 am “armed with cutlasses, rakes, slashers, weedicides and spray cans,” in a concerted effort to enhance the environment.
The group said too this activity will make the cemetery a place where Muslims can “follow the advice of our beloved prophet (s) when he said we should go to the burial place and reflect.”
