POINTE-A-PIERRE, Trinidad, CMC – Young West Indies batsman Darren Bravo produced a devastating display of batting to propel Queen’s Park to the capture of the WIPA Twenty20 Club Champions League on Sunday night.
The 20-year old left-handed Bravo slammed 75 from a mere 33 balls as Queen’s Park beat local club Merry Boys by 33 runs at Guaracara Park in the final of the US$100 000 tournament.
Sent in to bat, Queen’s Park rattled up 199 for four and Merry Boys could only manage 166 for nine from their 20 overs.
