A man was on Friday not required to plead to the indictable charge of discharging a loaded firearm when he appeared before Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.

It is alleged that on December 31, 2008, Devon Sears discharged a loaded firearm at Kelvin Parker so as to cause him grievous bodily harm.

Sears was subsequently remanded to prison until June 2.
