Dear Editor,
In how many more instances must the police in Guyana demonstrate their ability to speed on our roadways for government to take note and act?
More innocent Guyanese continue to fall victims to speeding army and police vehicles on our roads and no one seems to be doing anything. Some of these vehicles really speed on the road as I have seen them myself. Sometimes the sirens are on as well, but it is perhaps questionable if they are always on a mission.
It might have been a different story had these men and women been capable and effective in doing what they should be doing rather than adding to the detriment of our safety on the roadways.
Yours faithfully,
Leon Jameson Suseran
