Magistrate Hazel Octive-Hamilton on Monday ordered that a man, who allegedly used a cutlass to rob another man of a cell phone, be remanded to prison when he appeared before her at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court.
Mark Campbell was not required to plead to the indictable charge of robbery under arms.
He is accused of using a cutlass to rob Rudolph De Abreu of a cell phone valued $5,000 on June 3.
The magistrate subsequently granted Prosecutor Clement his request that the unrepresented Campbell be remanded to prison.
He will appear back in court on June 29.
