We, the owners and drivers of buses 63 and 50 feel that giving permission for the 63A buses to park and load at Seawall Turn or Palmyra is a breach of the road service licence. The road service licence for 63A buses was from Moleson Creek to Georgetown, not Seawall Turn; it is unfair to give permission for that to the 63A buses. These buses pick up passengers along the Corentyne road, drop them at Palmyra Junction, then pick up short-drop passengers across the bridge. They are taking in passengers along the 50 route.
The law is the law and the road service licence comes under the law. How can you allow the 63A buses to load at Seawall Turn? Has that name changed to Moleson Creek? We think that the police under Traffic Chief Own Trotz should be allowed to do their work. We truly believe that the 63A buses should go to Village No 50 or 63, and the few buses that ply Moleson Creek should be given a one-month pass. Fair is fair; there should be no park at Seawall Turn.
