Dear Editor,
I wish to make an observation with regards to the new format of the Motor Vehicle Licence. I appreciate the thinking behind the change but am concerned with the personal details (name & address) required to be posted on the vehicle windscreen.
I am appealing to the Traffic Department to re-consider its placement and allow it to be in the glove compartment. On inspection by the Traffic Officers the fitness, insurance and driver’s licence are already accepted to be within the car.
