Parbattie Ramsundar, the Guyanese woman who went missing in Canada on Saturday afternoon after going for a walk, has returned to her relatives and is said to be save and in good health.
According to the Mississauga News, Ramsundar, who is also called Pamela, returned without incident to the house she was staying.
“Investigators would like to thank the public for its help in locating Mrs Ramsundar,” the paper quoted the police in Mississauga as saying,
The 53-year-old woman has been visiting friends and family since April. She went missing on Saturday around 5 pm when she went for a walk.
Police were concerned for Ramsundar’s safety and well-being because she was unfamiliar with the area and they felt her limited English skills might deter her from approaching a member of the public for help.
No other information was given about the woman’s return.
