Acting Chief Magistrate Melissa Robertson on Tuesday ordered the East Ruimveldt man who said that he had not intentionally exposed himself to his neighbour to pay a fine of $7,500 when he appeared in court.
Junior George had pleaded guilty with an explanation to a charge of indecent exposure when he first appeared at the Georgetown Magistrate’s Court. He admitted that he had exposed his person in an indecent manner to Tessa Blackman. George had said that he had been urinating in his yard when Blackman peeped over and saw him.
However, the prosecution told the court that on the said day, George had been urinating in his yard but on observing Blackman looking over into his yard at him, he turned and “shaked” himself off towards her.
Blackman later made a report at the police station and George was subsequently arrested and charged. Blackman had said that it was not the first time George had exposed himself to her.
In addition to the fine, the magistrate ordered George to desist from exposing himself to Blackman.
