(Trinidad Express) – A man died inside his car while waiting for his daughter outside a primary school on Wednesday.
Larry Vincent was found slumped over the steering wheel by his ten-year-old daughter, police said.
Vincent, believed to be in his 50s, parked his car outside the San Fernando Girls’ Government School, along Rushworth Street, San Fernando, around 2.15 pm. About 15 minutes later his daughter went to the car and knocked on the window for her father to open the door, but he did not respond.
Police said the girl, who was attending vacation classes at the school, returned to the office and alerted a teacher. By the time an Emergency Medical Services ambulance arrived, Vincent was already dead.
The Express was told that Vincent, who was unemployed, suffered from a heart ailment.
